when i try to connect to the server, it always fails the connect. I did create a new account and it still fails.

^ Use the link provided on that thread to log in. Otherwise, if that does not work, here's a thread that might help with your issues with the page. (Note: The login page is always needed for every time you log in, if I haven't made that clear. ;o;)

If you're experiencing issues it could be how your browser is currently set up. We do not allow any proxies so please disable any proxy settings you might have enabled. Also do not run the browser in incognito/private browsing mode and have cookies enabled. If you still have issues feel free to try another web browser all together. Also do keep in mind that we do not let any banned users connect to the game

The second topic I showed you gives more information on the situation as well, not only if you're having issues, but if you just want to know a little bit about why the login page is there.

Adding on let the page sit for a 20-30 seconds before logging in so it can hook to the server and user a browser that refreshes a page or get a add on that dos it or else it will log you out.

Another add-on to that:
* Don't minimize or close the tab, you must keep it open. You can minimize it once you get logged into the game, though.
* Use a browser that will work for you if you still continue getting problems.
* Type your username and password in correctly and carefully on both, the login page and ingame login. Just in case!

Adding on to what the other helpful floofs above said, make sure your username is LESS than 16 characters long, otherwise the game will not let you log in. And the only way to fix this is to make a new account at the next open registration.
