I'm not an expert on map making at all, so I may be completely wrong when I say all of this. xD
But did you make sure you saved your map correctly? I would double check that first.

Make sure that you've saved the map correctly, and that the files are in the right place. Might be wrong, but it's all I know about maps unfortunately.

Adding on ( because I'm a newbie when it comes to mapmaking ) but are you clicking 'save' instead of 'export'?
And if that doesn't work, you can go to your export folder ( because that's usually where the objects be hiding in ) and copy the object, go to media > objects > my_objects. Sometimes it works and other times it might not.

If you're visiting your map in-game before you have exported it, then that might be the problem. Sometimes it messes things up when you go in-game without exporting it. Try exporting it first and see if that works. c:

Try moving the object into a different object group. Sometimes this glitch happens with older object groups, but just making a brand new object group might fix it. However, you'll still have to re-place all of that certain mesh using in the one in the new object group. Hope this helps!

Ahh. Thanks everyone!
I'll try all of your advice and see if it helps. ;v;
