Title: Bigger than 513x513?

I'm into map making. Recently I've made a 1500x1500 terrain, but only the texture will work, not the Terrain so, I've re-sized the map in Feral Heart, and edited it in Gimp and it still just crashes me. >:( :'( :-[ So, can anyone tell me how to either fix this or make 1500x1500 maps work

Well when you create the map, it's supposed to be 513 x 513
When you go to the map maker, you can change the height and such.
You can check this for some visuals / further help to see if you did this correctly.

So, should I just make the mountains and stuff small, and then re-size it? :-\

No. What I'm saying, is...when you make the map in Gimp ( whatever art program, but Gimp is the best option so far ), you save the map as a 513 x 513.
Make sure your map is in greyscale though & you used the RGB when you 'colored'.

When you make a terrain map, it has to be 513x513 or it will crash the game.

If you mean in the game itself making the map 1500x1500 would work. You just edit it in the height and width part in map maker.

Also like Hakumi said, it MUST be Greyscale or it will also not work and crash the map maker. If you are unsure how to do this, you just go here in gimp if that is what you're using. :

Ah, alright. I think I got it! I'll go see if it works in maybe a day or two :-\ hah. I'll tell you if it worked ;D :D ;)

The heightmap/colormask must be 513 x 513. You can edit the size of the map in the map-maker. C:
