I was in the middle of a rp in fichno when we decided to head to bonfire, and all of a sudden my W A S D controls went wonky.
Instead of using the arrow keys to turn when i was using W to run, i had to use A and S or something like that, i had to exit the roleplay because of that, help!

Have you tried going to your game settings & seeing if anything changed. If so, you can set the the controls back to where they were. You can access this through options. c:

I have tried that, i even set the controls back to the default and tweaked things like the head track and walk.

Try hitting the left or right control key and see if that helps.

Sadly it didnt help

If you have already tried quitting the game and then logging back in and that didn't work, you may have to reinstall. I've never heard of that happening and it's the only thing I can really think of to do.

Agreed. You might have to use that as a last resort if nothing else works. So far I tried looking into it and so far I'm coming up with nothing. .

I had kind of the same exact issue a couple years ago, probably a few months or so after I had joined the community. Of course I freaked out because I didn't know what was going on and relogging wasn't helping the situation, my character wasn't running in the direction of my camera (which I could still use the arrow keys to turn the camera), the character would run in whatever direction it got stuck facing while the head would follow the camera. If this is what you're experiencing, the only fix I know of is pressing one of the ctrl keys to change the running modes. Reinstalling might fix it, but if for some reason it doesn't then this has me stumped. I remember how hard and irritating it was to try and steer with the A and D or whatever keys, so I hope this isn't driving you as crazy as it drove me.
However if I might add, it could have something to do with your hotkeys.cfg file in your game's FH folder, maybe try looking it over just to be safe? And if there is something wrong with it for some reason, there's a way to download the default file.
