Title: Front server
Post by: .SomethingLame. on June 01, 2016, 01:35:51 pm
Okay so i downloaded FH yesterday and i can't connect to the front server
I always have the 'keep this tab open' login on the website, i wait a few minutes and then turn the game on and it still doesnt work.
I checked my firewall, i couldn't turn it off and on it didn't let me so i went on the advanced > properties and i turned the public one off and it didn't work.
I don't know what else to do because my internet connection is pretty strong.

Do you have anything thing downloading in the background? Because it could slow down the login process. Check if your anti virus is blocking the game(if you have one)) If not check your router, or reset your internet.

Try not to minimize the login tab either, and if possible, try opening the login tab on a tablet or mobile device.

nope i'm not downloading anything, however i think it is my anti virus, but i just don't know how to fix it. My anti virus is Northon security.

Ye can find how to disable Norton Antivirus f'er a period of time here. Click Me! (https://www.drivereasy.com/knowledge/how-to-temporarily-turn-off-norton/)

If turning Norton off doesn't seem to work, I'd r'commend restarting y'er router like Fireboss has mentioned above. That usually does the trick.

If not, then try logging in via mobile d'vice such as an iPad, iPhone, or a smart tablet. Sometimes 'tis just the computer.

You could also try opening the tab on a different web browser. I find it necessary to open the webpage before opening the game, letting the page settle for a minute or two then giving a manual refresh before clicking open the game.
