Title: Quick question on portal mods~

So, scanning DeviantArt for new mods, I found a bunch of portal mods. However, I couldn't find one that matched my present Okami theme, so I figured I would just make one. But, with the fact that I only saw maybe one page of them in my search for mods, I figure they're hard to make or rarely shared. So, can anyone give me a tutorial on how to make one of my own? Formats, programs needed, et cetara. ^.^

Not sure if there is a portal-making tutorial out there, since I've never seen one and tried searching for one without any luck
I'm sure you could look into your textures folder and open up the existing "gate" and "portal" files and use those as a base/reference to creating your own =0

Yeah, you just have to replace the files gate.png, gate2.png, gate3.png, gateblack.png, and portal.png, I believe! They're all located in the folder Feralheart>Media>Textures.
I might try making a tutorial on making mods like that later : o

Ooh, I think there should be a tutorial on it. But, the files can be still images, correct? I'm not sure how animation and that works. It's a big enough leap for me to try making the mod in the first place. ^.^'

Leave the animating bit to the game, it'll do it for ya. However, when making a portal mod, you'll have to be sure that with the animation it looks exactly the way you want it and that can generally be a bit harder than it sounds, it took me some time trying to get my mod the way I wanted it to look. But like said before all you gotta do is replace the gate and portal images and you'll be good to go!
