So, every time I try to load the height map my game just has none of it and crashes.
It's PNG, and it's the exact size it's meant to be and greyscale. My PC isn't the issue, and I have no idea what I'm doing wrong.

Make sure you flattened all the layers.
You can also check here for a quick tutorial to see if you're missing anything ^.^

The layers are all flattened.
-
You can try changing the size of the map as well and seeing if that might help(?)
Also, make sure when you're masking it, It's RGB and not a color off (i.e Red- 255, 0 , 0 | Blue- 0 , 0 , 255 , etc. )
If even one is off then it simply won't work.

I'm more than 100% sure that everything is in place?
It's greyscale, correct size and it's all one layer.
Here's the one I'm working with: http://sta.sh/01ayurmspjec (http://sta.sh/01ayurmspjec)

I'm not seeing anything wrong...If all your files are matching up correctly and all, the only thing I can think of is if the map is compatible with the newer update of Feral-Heart.
Not entirely sure but hopefully someone that's more knowledgeable about this will help ya out. ( Map Looks Great By The Way ! ). So I wish you luck ~!

The funny thing is, the person that originally gave me the map to work with, everything was very rough and looked fake but I had loaded it into FH prior and it worked. So I smoothed everything down and atleast tried to make it look better and now it crashes?
-
Maybe it's because of the changes in the layout or such, again, I'm not entirely sure ^^;
-
I've tried it with the old FH version too.. same thing : (
I really need to get working on this map too because the RP I'm in is in dire need of the map because the current one is very bland.
-
Maybe you could try using the original ( basically before the changes ) and just simply change the size of the map? It could help round out some areas(?)

Here dude:
I got it working: image link (https://i.gyazo.com/420789244a4e5dc23a64541c69427175.jpg)
It wasn't greyscale, it showed up as RGB for me. Heres the edited version: click (https://www.dropbox.com/s/bt75q43es7qlk2p/testingterrian.png?dl=0)
