Title: Failed to connect
Post by: Chunky_Squirrel on June 14, 2016, 05:46:01 pm
So basically read this thread first to understand the auditional problem: http://www.feral-heart.com/index.php?option=com_jfusion&Itemid=2&jfile=index.php&topic=56984.0 (http://www.feral-heart.com/index.php?option=com_jfusion&Itemid=2&jfile=index.php&topic=56984.0)

Anyways.
With that error, FH doesn't work at all for me.

That is strange...
Maybe you should wait and see what Raz / Staff member comes up with.
Don't think I have yet to experience such a thing.

I know it's strange! It's really annoying.
I can only use my phone to browers FH boards freely.

Tho, I noticed that when I turned my wifi off on my phone, Fh works freely, but my with my wifi it doesn't. :/
And I cannot turn off my wifi on my PC, otherwise NOTHING will work.

Then there might be something up with the main WiFi(?)

Have you tried getting on the game, logging into the tab via phone?
Another thing you can try ( if you even have it ) is trying your mobile hotspot and seeing if it's something with the provider's internet or the internet of the phone.

The thing is, a while ago today I accidentally pressed f12 while brushing through the keyboard and I saw that there is shown 2 x and I pressed on it, seeing what it was and it showed 2 errors.
I don't recall what it said exactly, but I saw it was saying errors.

Maybe there was a setting that was associated with that key (?)

If it's possible, mine taking a screenshot of the errors?
If push comes to shove might have reinstall/redownload the game.

I will when I get back home.

And re-installing the game wont help, the game has nothing to do, just the error itself in the forums it seems.... :/

I don't think that's the correct coding for the picture.
Try uploading it to tiny pic and copy the bar coding that has the '[IMG]Picture Link[/ IMG]' ( Without the spaces of course ) and then try pasting it here again c:

Oh this isn't good..
And you said you accidentally pressed f12 ( and possibly some other key along with it ) when you brushed the keyboard. Both me and my friend looked into this and it seems that you really did mess something up with the settings. That key can effect how your computer boots up, doesn't allow certain programs to run correctly and so on, sort of like safe mode.

To fix this is a pretty hard task and it's out of both of our ranges since you need to possibly go into the bios and start deleting some things and such. It's possible to fix this if you just simply restore your computer back to its factory settings, not guaranteeing that it'll work or not, but it's worth a shot.

Perhaps try a different browser? It might just be an error with Chrome's recognition of something on the webpage. Could you send an image over of attempting another webpage?
If it's the same kind of problem, I'd advise running an antivirus program to make sure there is no malware disconnecting or denying you proper access.

When I said I brushed through the keyboard and accidentally pressed f12, I meant that I only pressed f12, nothing more.
And I already saw the problem occur without even pressing keys accidentally, so yeah.

Ah,
Then I still recommend restoring the computer back to its factory settings, like a fresh sweep. You could be missing some key files. With this, at least it should restore them.

If this was already like this around the time you got the computer, it could be like a defect or something.

Okay, I'll do it tomorrow, it's already pass my bed time.
Oh and, could you please kindly tell me how I do what you explained? I've never done so before, haha...ha.. XD

No problem ^^

Assuming you know how to get to the windows screen by pressing that windows button...

'Click the down arrow and go to where it says PC Settings. Next, go to where it says Update & Recovery Lastly Select the Option That Says Remove Everything & Reinstall Windows.

Hopefully this gets fixed c:

Yeah...something must've messed up. You might have to start looking into getting a new computer.

And mind being a bit more specific? Like it doesn't work anymore(?)

I have my uncles PC.
And it gives me blue screen, it tells me to activate windows with a product key, but I don't know any, it shuts himself down, or it doesn't turn on at all.
It's because I don't have the stinking Windows 10 -_-"

Oh....
I think you restored waaaay far back and now you're left with a shell of a computer, you probably got rid of windows. The product key is what you get when you purchase a windows product. Without it, you can't do anything with the computer.

Do you still have the old key(?) If not, you might have to buy one by using another computer.

In case you didn't get the message ( my messages like to glitch sometimes ). You could make contact with the internet provider / restart your router in case there was changes being made on the internet.
