Title: Need Opinion for maps.

So since I'm back in the map making business, I want your opinions on this idea I had.

There were two old maps I absolutely adored from the old game, and those would be the Temple of Dreams and South Pole. I planned to do a HUGE makeover with them. Although they would have the same places and layout, they would also feature new items (For Example, South Pole would have snow covered dens).

But my question is, would it be alright for me to do this? These would be public maps.

That actually sounds pretty cool, especially with the snow den ideas...
As for the part of being 'okay' with it, Not entirely sure about that part.

But nonetheless, nice idea c:

I've completely remade almost all of the old maps before, and posted it on the forum, so yes I'm pretty sure its perfectly alright c: Just as long as you don't somehow use the original heightmaps (which I'm not even sure how you would do) or anything and make the maps completely from scratch, you should be fine.

Thank you! Basically I would just add more, and possibly higher-quality items to the map. Although, I could not recreate the heightmap for South Pole entirely because I think it'd be a bit too complicated for me. X'D

I actually think this could be a cool idea, I'm sure for the people that miss those places it would be a blast for them! And I'm pretty sure it would be okay, as long as it's not exactly the same as the original maps.

I reckon it'll be allowed, especially if you make it from scratch and/or discredit Kovu (or Red, idk who to credit anymore). As for the snow den idea, I think it'll be pretty awesome! <3 Variety on weather maps would be a great add to the game.

Thank you so much for the advice, and you can find those two maps now up for download in the Map section under finished maps. A third map might come to you guys today!
