Title: The New FH Isn't Working on Windows 8?

I've found out between my friend and one of my own computers I have myself that the new update of FH just crashes every time you try to play the game. It works on my Windows 10 computer however... Is there a way to fix this? This is a predicament I couldn't figure out with trying to scan through the other help threads. I haven't seen this posted yet, and if it was, I apologize. But yes, if I could get help for both myself and my friend, I'd be greatly appreciative, thank you!

I have a Windows 8 and it works fine for me. Have you downloaded the update correctly?

Ditto here. Windows 8 works fine. Adding onto Hakumi, are all the files extracted, present, and working properly? I'd suggest uninstalling and reinstalling, following one of the stickied tutorials.

Try installing FeralHeart into a new folder on your computer so that no old FeralHeart files will cause an conflicts with this new version. To do this:
Download that, run it and when it comes to this: PICTURE LINK (https://i.gyazo.com/f0906fb7f1fa91d4e3c5bc358a993dfb.png)
