Title: Failed to connect to Map Server

I logged on FH and not that much people were online so while my friends get online i would instal some new things
So i was thinking of adding this new map
i tried logging in and everything was fine.
i wanted to change characters so i quited the game then logged in, chose a new character
but it kept saying: Failed to connect to map server
also this character i chose wasnt in any custom map, just in Cape of distant worlds
so i tried to choose other characters, nothing would help.

Have you tried resetting your character form the site love?
At times that does help solve the issue since the character might be stuck in the older version of the game maps that might not exist any longer.
That or the character itself might have a bug since I have had certain characters with bugs at times that have not let me into a map or online at all.

Another thing people have found to help in addition to what was mentioned above is to slightly edit the character and it's name a bit.
