So I ran into the this problem early this morning, like 9am? When I just woke up. I tried fixing it myself, and I got a whole new interface. But it failed to work..
Any help appreciated.

Is the issue that your chat box background is missing? If that's the case, make sure you have the images TextField and TextArea in your FeralHeart>>Media>>Textures folder. If they're not there, I would suggest reinstalling the interface mod you got, as it seems like those two files might be missing.

If you do have the TextField and TextArea in the correct folders, try changing the rendering system first to see if that helps. If it doesn't, a reinstall should help as Kynvuu stated.

Yes, I have both of those files, in th correct area. Also, I only have one rendering system..? My friend told me earlier she had to get some kind of mod..? ;w;

You can change the rendering system by going into the Ogre .cfg file and just type in the other choice.

Haha, you make that sound so simple. I had a look and it means nothing to me! xD I never really play around with files... I know nothing about coding and stuff :L
Sorry

If you open the file in notepad, the first two lines should look like this:
Render System=OpenGL Rendering Subsystem
[OpenGL Rendering Subsystem]
This is from my own .cfg file, so if yours looks like that, change it to Direct3D9 where it says OpenGL. If yours says Direct3D9, change it to OpenGL and that should work.

You can also change your rendering system from in-game ^^
Just click Options>Video>Rendering Subsystem
Choose whichever one isn't high-lighted and restart your game.

If you haven't fixed the issue yet, I wouldn't mind taking a peek at few of your interface files to see if editting could fix it.
