Title: Map portals do not appear in Cape Of Distant Worlds?

Everything is okay now, I probably should have just investigated the problem by myself a bit more before posting this, thank you to those who tried to help me!


I have decided I would start using the forum more often.. since I always have avoided it, and a good thing I am using it now because I've ran into a problem.
Every map I try to download does not appear in Cape of Distant Worlds, maybe I am doing it wrong? Is there a new way of downloading them now? This is probably a dumb question, and I am probably just missing something very simple, but I see no visible portals..? Does anyone know what might be wrong?

the portals are very transparent now, so unless you ran around and checked, that may be a problem.

other than that i have no clue, sorry

I heard something about that... I did run around to see if I could find any, but I figured since no map names were popping up anywhere they were not there at all

Make sure that all your files are correctly placed in the exports folder. I've heard some say-so about older maps not working with the new update as some of the meshes don't transfer over, but I'm unsure if that's true or not. I'd have to have some else check me on that one. You could also try changing your rendering subsystem through the in game options as well.

..I actually just checked once more, and I noticed I have just been going past the nearly invisible portal.. I thought I've checked everywhere, but apparently not in that spot.. Oops
