So, I made a map for a couple of friends, but while going on the map in-game I realized I had to place a few more objects. But, when I tried going to open my map on map maker, my feral heart game instantly crashed. I already deleted duplicate particle files ending with '_0' and '_1' as well as my mesh files, but it still seems to crash. What am I doing wrong?

Hm. I'm unsure, I don't think I've seen a problem like this before (from the things I've seen) but, is it just this certain map or another map you've made? And, I will suggest deleting the map or re downloading FH, maybe? I don't know much of how to help with this problem.

My other maps load perfectly fine, it's just this map.

Oh? Maybe delete the map or re download FH? I don't know much to say about this problem.

try deleting duplicate files in terrain>texture files. I'm not very sure of what to do with this problem either.

Try changing your rendering subsystem. This can be done through the game options button. Also, it doesn't seem like heightmap issue as it seems you were already able to get in prior, but make sure your heightmap is:
513x513
Grayscale
One layer/Alpha Channel Off
Flattened
