Title: What just happened to people's signature.

I was scrolling around my threads and I seen Fireboss' picture empty with this symbol in it (http://i67BannedImageSite/mmvb6q.png) I seen the picture fine before same thing happened to Twistedlizard and many other people What happened? It even went on my signature!

I believe this symbol only appears when you use certain uploading sites for your image (Such as Tinypic). Try using PostImage :) It worked for me when I had this problem. Use the IMG code found following "Thumbnail for Forums:" when you upload the desired image.

I've noticed this as well. Even images in threads have had this happen.
I honestly think it might just be a site bug with the codin' or somethin' of the like.

I, too, 'ave noticed this. What I believe it to be is just a simple WIP site edit being done by Raz as he works on the forums. I'm sure they'll all be fixed pretty soon.

As DarkFang has mentioned, I believe it to be an isolated issue with a few photo uploading sites. Try using stash on DA f'er y'er signatures f'er the time being while the issue is resolved.

Tinypic no longer works on here. I'm assuming any user whose sig/icon/etc isn't showing up is because it was hosted from that site

Try using another uploading website such as Imgur, Photobucket, or even DeviantART

Tinypic doesn't work anymore? Oh boy, I'm going to need to replace a ton of images on my threads :o

Why exactly doesn't Tinypic in particular work anymore, though, if I may ask?

same thing happend to me. I wonder why Tinypic aint workin' taht's the only thing thta i understand. WHY FERALHEART WHY??!?!?!?!??! o3o

But the way to add in images with the whole [ img ] [ / img] to your posts seems to be the same (as photos uploaded from my stash and such work still), and when I tried right clicking on one of the photos I had uploaded from tinypic on here "bannedimagesite" was in the URL, so it seems to be something specifically blocking tinypic. It's an awful site, but it's so widely used, so I'm just curious why it's been blocked (unless it's just a temporary thing, or just an issue on Tinypic's side)

Raz has blocked off Tinypic on our site because Tinypic has a problem where they will often switch preexisting image links with new different images, while this may also be a problem with other image hosting sites Raz explained that it's because Tinypic does not have a filter for NSFW content and so to keep our boards friendly and age appropriate he has made the decision to remove tinypic image linking here. We've had some inappropriate NSFW stuff appearing on our boards because of the usage of Tinypic and a number of reports on posts because of it.

Try using Imgur.com for image posting instead. It works better than Tinypic in my opinion. We apologize if it's any inconvenience to you but we hope you all understand.
