Wow, that's rather odd looking. I am just going to guess and assume 'tis a pipe/"|". If that's what 'tis, then it should be on the backslash/"\" key. Just press and hold shift and press the backslash to get the pipe key.

I'm afraid that I do NOT have the backlash key, and I think it's because of my keyboard. I have an American keyboard {I had a Swedish board, but I deleted it}. Do ye think I might need to get another one? I can certainly do so.

Well, that's rather odd. American keyboards should 'ave the backslash key. It may look like the pipe is broken in two, but 'tis still the same key. If ye can't seem to find it, if suggest getting a different keyboard like ye said.
