I'm sure I'm not the only one who has forum posts from the past that I regret, so my question to all of you is if you had the chance, would you get rid of the ones that you are especially embarrassed by, or just don't want other people to see anymore? Or are you content with them now and wish to keep them there as memories?

Of course! There's a couple that i'd delete. But I guess the forums resemble real life in the sense that you can't change the past. You could call them learning experiences, and as you said, keep them as memories.

Oh, I 'ave a few stupid posts that I'd love to erase from history, but I am content with keeping them up just so I can learn from m'own stupidity.

Actually, you can ask an admin or a global mod to delete your old posts. '^^
As for the topic, I would get rid of the ones that I don't want other people to see them, but otherwise I wouldn't.

Yes, I am aware of that. ^^' It's just that I doubt the staff have the time to delete every single one of my old posts that I find embarassing, since most of them do not break any rules or are 'disruptive' to anyone but me. I don't believe it would be fair of me to pester them about those kinds of things.
Anways, I am in agreement with pretty much all of you so far, haha. There's a couple specific posts of mine that I would love to see gone, but at the same time they help show how I've changed over the years... so I'm not so sure. Though if I were to go through all of my stupid posts and deleted each one I would only have about 50-100 posts left. As Enoki said, I'd be keeping them around so I can learn from my stupidity.

I'd definitely delete a lot of them. There's so many posts that I just don't want to ever run into with super cringy things from when I was younger or just cluttered threads I don't have a use for (like some of my map/mesh/etc. related threads).
I probably wouldn't delete a lot of posts. Sure, basically every single one of my posts to this day is just.. awful to look at, but I'd only want to get rid of the particularly cringe worthy ones (I can even think of a certain few right now I'd smash to bits with a hammer if I could). Besides, I have so many stupid posts it would take a long time to go through them all xD

Definitely. 110% Oh. My. God. Sometimes I find myself lookin' at my old posts, just wantin' to scream at my younger self. To b honest, though, not all are SO bad. I think I'd only get rid of the problematic or unintentionally rude ones.

Even though a lot of my older posts make me cringe, I don't necessarily care that they're still up there. I mean, it's the internet after all. Anything you write or put up there is going to stick there. I just play it safe and think through what I'm about to post to avoid any issues c:

i believe that deleting posts was once an option in the past, if memory serves me right, but i guess that option has been removed.

But yeah seeing some of my old ones, like...OOOOLD ones, I would think about deleting them but then I would see my little noob self and laugh and want to keep those memories <3 but yes, a lot of them, yes.
