About the only thing I would have thought FH would have is the ability to change colors of markings on different parts of the body.

Well when I first downloaded Feralheart I thought it had quest and a pvp system and much more maps.

Well when I first downloaded Feralheart I thought it had quest and a pvp system and much more maps.

I used to think that it was a quest-based game, as well. I didn't so much think that it would be revolving around "specific" quests, but I imagined that there would be a "goal" of some sort to reach. I had come to know about Feral Heart after playing Wolf Quest for many years, and so the concept of having certain "stages" of your character's story was familiar to me. I appreciated how Feral Heart was (and in many cases, still is) different, though, and how it didn't rely on quest or battle simulation to make an immersive experience.

Very interesting topic, Leahling.

I thought FH would have more ways to customize your character, or to more extremes. For example, have minimum length but max everything else.

I thought FH would've had a PVP system, and fighting animations.

I also thought it might be more like Wolfquest. ^-^

Before downloading FH I remember that I had thought items were a built in part of the game, kinda like how it was in impressive title. I also thought there were a ton of different animations and dance moves for your characters. I do have to admit that after watching the youtube videos of the Attack options in Impressive Title I was quite disappointed that it wasn't available in FH.

I didn't have many thoughts/expectations for FH before I downloaded it, I was just sorta like "cool, a game about lions and wolves. Let's try it out" cx

It took me an embarrassingly long time to figure out that this actually existed, so much research down dead ends.  "It's not 'impressive title' but it is"  then i found it finally.  So after all the searching i knew pretty much what was in it,which go-to mod's to download.
Probably the only thing i thought was there would be more game mod's like some other games have been.

Well, I expected FeralHeart to be basically the same as it is; as I wasn't picky back then; but I did think that there were more items and perhaps some prey.

Interestin'.

Huh, I'd have to really go back and think to the very beginning. I'm not sure actually. I don't think I had a sense of what it had and what it didn't have, I was just excited to find something similar to WolfQuest.

I stalked the forum and the dA group for so long before registering/downloading that there wasn't a whole lot I didn't know wasn't in it, heh... I think I do recall thinking you could add prey to custom maps though, however that was just because I had gotten a video about Impressive Title mixed up with FH.

I went into the game completely blind, and not expecting anything really. I had seen only a few screenshots, and knew it was somewhat similar to WolfQuest, but otherwise, I didn't know anything about it. And I didn't assume anything about it, everything was just a pleasant surprise when I entered it xD

I thought it would be kinda like WolfQuest (Hunting and PVP) I was pretty disappointed to find out that you could only walk around and talk.

I found Feral Heart through music videos on youtube, so from this I thought there was prey/hunting, more emotes, more markings and items that didn't require download and pups that were NPC (I'm not exactly sure why I thought that??).
I was a desperate child who wanted this game so bad, I had no idea what it was gonna be like so what I guessed was sort of a shot in the dark.
I saw that registration was open then made an account with a mildly embarrassing username and here I am 4 years later!
