You've disabled it computer wise. How so?
I'd suggest uninstalling and reinstalling Feral Heart.
If you have Windows 7/8, you could try this method:
Click on Start.
Click on Control Panel.
In the search bar of the Control Panel window (top right)
Type: Keyboard.
Under Character Repeat, move the repeat delay slider to the left or right to increase or decrease how long you must hold down a key before the keyboard character repeats, and then click OK.
You could also try updating your Drivers or doing a Windows Update to fix some problems.
As a last resort, I would download SharpKeys and disable 5 from your computer Registry. Here's a link to SharpKeys and a YouTube video on how to disable a key from the Registry:

I'm going to second what kittykat2000 said and recommend fiddling with your drivers and trying out that SharpKeys program
As for FeralHeart: In your FeralHeart folder there should be a file called: "keyboard.cfg" and "emotehotkeys.cfg". For now, lets focus on "keyboard.cfg"
Right click the file and open it up using Notepad (assuming you're using Windows)
When you open it, you should see a list that looks similar to this (some numbers may be different for yours)
Now, after looking that over, look at this link http://help.adobe.com/en_US/AS2LCR/Flash_10.0/help.html?content=00000520.html (http://help.adobe.com/en_US/AS2LCR/Flash_10.0/help.html?content=00000520.html)
That link will take you to a page that shows what "keycode" corresponds with each key.
What you're going to do, is look for the number 5 on that website, make note of what keycode is shown for it (It's 53 for the #5 key and 101 for the Numpad 5 I believe) and make sure that you don't have any numbers in the "keyboard.cfg" file that has those two keycodes. If there is a number 53 or 101 in the "keyboard.cfg", change the 53 or 101 to a different keycode. You said you switched it to the delete key? Look on the website and find the keycode for the delete key and replace the 53/101 with the new keycode.
If you have an emote that uses the number 5, do the same thing in the "emotehotkeys.cfg" file. Replace any 53's or 101's with a different keycode.
I hope I'm making sense. My brain isn't working well today haha. I can help further if you need it
Hope this helps
