Title: Gen back

I have to admit with the update i'm sad we didn't get Gen Chat back. And i miss it as it was the best way to advertise for groups in game. Any way we might be able to get some hope of having it again?

Sorry to say, but I don't think it is ever coming back. Way too many people took advantage of it and abused it from what I heard so honestly....I just think it would be better to keep it out. cx

As Arctic said, general was used and abused by many different people, which pretty much ruined it for everyone. In my opinion, I think it's better if it stayed off for good because the same thing that happened previously is bound to happen again.

I wasn't here when General was removed and to be honest, I don't really miss it. Sure, it may help with advertising but in the quote from Red and everyone's comments, it sounds like it was doing more harm than good.

My opinion changed not long after I posted this and I've stuck with the belief that general chat needs to come back since.
