A game i joined for one day. Shut down. R.I.P wolf soul. I didnt have time.. Its over.

Even though I didn't play this game a lot it is really sad to see the game shut down.

Wolf Soul has just officially shut down. I was there at the last minute.

I didn't go on there much, but I'm still very sad to see this unique server go. </3

Oh wow, so it's officially been shut down with no possible chance of return? Or is this perhaps temporary?

If it truly was shut down that is pretty sad. To my knowledge it was one of the more popular IT reboot servers. They had nice models too. I only ventured there one day but I thought it was pretty cool nonetheless. Farewell I guess <3 It was fun while it lasted. I hope it wasn't shut down due to any dramas or misfortunes. Best wishes to the Wolf Soul community.

Im very mad right now because of this and the most ridiculous thing in this Kino dont say Why? isn't shut down, you cant just shut down game that is playable >.<

I mean they have every right to take down a server as they are the individual(s) running, funding, and working with it but after reading their very brief response I agree that they could have at least said why. It seems a little careless of admins to just decide to permanently take down a game server on such short notice without even giving a proper explanation why or heart felt farewell. You would expect a bit more coming from a community that claims to be three years old. It's sad to leave the user base so dry regardless of their reasons for leaving.

I mean it would have been nice if they would have told users about the coming closer at least a week or month ahead so users can enjoy their last times there. I can't imagine how many weren't able to make it to the last day due to the short notice... that must suck. Then again for all I know there could have been prior message about the potential shut down in the game itself, but still there should have been further warning and official site notice.

-shrugs- What's done is done though.  :-\ Hopefully the reasons for closure weren't tragic personal ones. Best wishes to the Wolf Soul Team.

I would have liked to stop by for the final day myself since it was a fairly cool looking server.

Yes, the game is indeed back but under new ownership.
Here's a link, it seems that Warr is the one that's running it so far.

Since the game is being resurrected under a new person and it's not really going to be dead anymore I suggest that someone create a new thread detailing this. I'll go ahead and lock this one since it's no longer relevant ^^
