Title: Preset Problems
Post by: Recruit.er on November 27, 2016, 01:43:47 am
For some reason my presets wont show to my friends. I gave them the FHP and I made sure it was the correct one, I exported it again, and I even tried putting it on then off and it still didn't work.

Another thing to make sure is that they don't have (1) [numbers] at the end of the preset file.

Ex. D-ead7Dog.fhp(1) or something along those lines.
Have them double check because that can be an issue too that people don't think can cause problems.

Could also try this (http://www.feral-heart.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=10&Itemid=17)

Make sure that they are putting the preset in the correct folder (the .fhp file should be placed into the "presets" folder, located in your (C):/ Drive >> Feral Heart >> presets). Check to make sure that the name of the preset matches your username, capital letters written accurately. If, for instance, your preset reads ^.omeowo.^.fhp while your username has capital letters, it will not read correctly unless the .fhp is capitalized as ^.OMeowO.^ . When you log into the game, be sure that you are logging in however the preset reads and your username actually is, as well. If you end up making any changes to the preset, be sure to re-export the file and send it to them!

Having any characters besides letters and numbers can also be an issue, so this could be causing a bit of the problem, too.

After trying what D-eaddog and Nynx suggested, if you are still having issues, I recommend completely reexporting a preset. It's most likely not that kind of issue that it needs to be reexported, but there's a small chance it could be. Make sure you delete the old .fhp before you reexport though.

Make sure, like Nynx suggested, that there are no extra characters after the file extension .fhp or any extra characters in the name of it.

Wish ya luck!
