Title: Lightning & butterfly particles (for testing or use it yourself for whatever)

So i was curious as to whether this particle effects worked for other people or if i'd made them wrong (because i have no idea what i'm doing)
They were pieced together from standard particles with some effects code taken from one in a map i downloaded.

So anyway that should be a link to a download the rough particles.  There should be a weather cycle test thing too, but if you use weather cycles instead of particles as a map object the lightning strikes barely ever land in the map itself, mostly on the horizon, but at least the lightning stops instead of being perpetual.

I've watched the video, And it looks really good! The different colours make it look so pretty.

Interesting you mention that.  i have been working on another lightning.  And butterflys.

Whoops.  So i realized the butterflies were not very efficient (because they were recycled from a joke preset lol).
Reworked made them with better billboard displays now...   So now they're less ghostly (Which hide their deficiencies)   But you may was to change the texture as they now look as rough MS paint spec as they actually are..
