Jeez, yet another problem.
So i noticed today, after downloading some maps, they crashed. Thought it was due to the game update or that some .fho's were the cause. After deleting EVERYTHING expect the .fhm file, it still crashed. Meaning, they are broken. Not only that, now i tried to go into map maker and that crashed at me the second i clicked.
I'm guessing some of my files are broken? I can't think of which, as i didn't touch any files in the terrain folder expect for the textures.

Yeah, this has been happening to a few people. Perhaps its just an error with the map that hasn't been compressed correctly for people to use. Did you install the map correctly and have you made sure its for the right update version? If nothing works try re-installing the game so that its back to normal, note that this action will cause you to lose any packs you've installed.
Update ~ Or try what Bloo. said. :P
I hope your problem gets fixed soon!

Check your media>particles folder and delete anything ending with _0 or _1. Duplicate particles are one of the main causes for game crashing after downloading a map. Also try changing your rendering system before trying to enter map maker again.
Also, if the maps you downloaded came with a .fhw (weather file), deleting that can help with crashing.

I did everything of that. The map works perfectly fine for my friend. The problem does not lie withing any object, weather or particles, it's the .fhm file. I'm guessing it is something with the entire coding or something of the terrains in general, as the map maker itself does not start. (Meaning the default map that shows up when you go to map maker is also a mess)
I really have no idea what could fix that expect a re-install. Gonna do that tomorrow, thank you for the good advice through!

Oh alright, I hope everything is fine after re-installing!
Take care! :)
