Hey everyone, I haven't played this game in a fairly long time (probably over a year), and was looking into playing again. I reset my passwords on both the forums and in game to the same password, and when I go to log in in game it says failed to connect to front server. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, or maybe there is just some issues right now?

About a year ago some extra security measures were put into play. You now have to be logged in on the link above the entire time you play the game in order to connect to the server. Don't minimize it or exit out of it, just open the game over it.

If you haven't logged in for more than 18 months, it's likely that your account was automatically terminated.
The first thing I would try, to determine if that's the case, is restart your FH every time it give you the "Failed to connect to front server" message. Afer a couple tries it should work.
Also, piggy-backing off the last suggestion, make sure you have good internet connection and are keeping the login page open the entire time you play. If you haven't been here in awhile, the login page is a new feature that simply has you login, the trick is that you have to keep that page open while playing FH or it won't connect.

If nothing seems to be working, than it is possible you account was deleted and you'll have to wait to catch registration again. It opens at random times throughout the day and the week. Hope this helped!

Oh no worries! The character selection is supposed to look like that. It's meant for you to be able to see your characters better when designing them and what-not. Though, you may run into the issue now where after you select a character, it gives you a "Cannot connect to map server" issue. The FH update got rid of all the old maps and replaced them with new ones. Your old characters are now 'stuck' in those old maps.

I am having the same issue, though I haven't played in over that time, I think, it wont change from the white boxes in that long in page you linked either, its not my firewall or anti virus since I turned both of them off to try.

Try opening the login page in a different browser or using a tab refresher such as this: http://www.refreshthis.com/
Also, make sure you're typing in your username and password correctly. It's case sensitive.

Try resetting your password. If you look up to where you see the User Panel link, you should also see a "Forgot your password?" link.

I changed the password recently actually thats how I got on to this old account, I answered my security question since I dont have access to my old email.

The login system as well as the registration and email system are still buggy. If you attempted to change your password before the password system was fixed, then you may have to re-register.

Gah, I was hoping that wasn't the case, cause before I remembered my user name I was trying for two weeks. I changed it today actually, or yesterday.
