Ah, since the update, portals 'ave become very transparent and hard to see. Look very closely on the incline part of the map- the first portals should be next to the wall that opens up to the cliff.as I said I downloaded a portal/gate thing and it's more clearer but the only map I can see is called PrideLands and I downloaded it but I can't see any of my other maps
as I said I downloaded a portal/gate thing and it's more clearer but the only map I can see is called PrideLands and I downloaded it but I can't see any of my other mapsDid you export your maps? They need to be exported in order for you to see them.
nope, I'll try it and thanksas I said I downloaded a portal/gate thing and it's more clearer but the only map I can see is called PrideLands and I downloaded it but I can't see any of my other mapsDid you export your maps? They need to be exported in order for you to see them.
also, are you talking about making maps? Because I don't make mapsas I said I downloaded a portal/gate thing and it's more clearer but the only map I can see is called PrideLands and I downloaded it but I can't see any of my other mapsDid you export your maps? They need to be exported in order for you to see them.
also, are you talking about making maps? Because I don't make mapsI presumed you were having trouble with your own maps, my apologies.
I'd recommend having only 1 map/map pack in your exports folder at a time, to avoid any conflicts that could occur do to overwriting files (especially if the maps try to modify the default objects.). On that note, only a certain number of portals are allowed to show up in Cape, so having a ton of maps downloaded means that some of them wont show up.so how many are allowed at once?
Another thing to be sure of is that you put all the exported map files in the FeralHeart/exports folder. so how many maps are allowed?
You could keep extra maps in a backup folder somewhere else on your PC like this "Maps/Map1+Map2+Map3", Where every name is a new folder with a different map or map pack.
First of all, make sure they're opening the zip folder and placing the contents in exports, not just putting the whole folder in there.
Secondly, make sure you're placing them in your LocalDisk>FeralHeart>Exports folder. Sometimes people make copies of the FH files or have copies of the game itself and misplace the files into the wrong version.
Also, an old issue that seemed to happen sometimes, is if you made a copy of your FH.exe file and pasted it onto your desktop to use as a shortcut, the portals won't show up. I didn't see this happen often, but if that's the case, try opening the FH game from within it's directory (AKA double click the .exe in your FH folder).
