I keep having this problem where I make a preset, export it, reset my game and the preset works completely fine.
But when I have to restart my game for whatever reason the preset goes back to the preset I had before in that file.
Does anyone know how to fix this? As it's messing up my preset sync as well. My friends are seeing the before preset not the updated one.

Maybe try deleting (or moving to a backup location) of all of the presets in both the "presets" folder and the "PrivatePresets" folder and then opening up the game and going to Preset Maker and reexporting it. Could be that there are some older files in that folder that are giving you the problems you've been having.

I've tried doing that many times and it keeps reseting back to the original preset that was there.
I'll give it another try though.

Erasing the contents of all of the preset folders might help with that too. This is really odd, hmm

Actually nevermind.
I did a game restart and it went back to the original preset.
I'm really un-sure on what the problem is. :I

Could be the preset sync is giving you problems. I've had some errors with it myself lately. Raz is looking into it though. You could maybe try installing your game without the preset sync and then add the correct fhp into the presets folder then try testing it. After you have some friends download that fhp and if they see that it works, install the preset sync to the new FeralHeart installation you made.

I'll try it out.
I think it's just Preset Sync though, since my friends can download the fhp and it works.

Yeah. In that case I would reinstall the sync. All you need to do is replace the original exe file and delete the Private Presets folder and the Public Presets folder. If you'd like, a full reinstall of the game might be best but I can understand that can be a pain.

Sync is fine its doing its job when you export the preset gets put in presets. you either need to take that and upload it to sync or put it in private presets if you dont do that it will get erased everytime you restart the game as presets gets reset at each run

Alright, thanks Raz.
