Title: Black background (new member)

Hello! Just downloaded this lovely looking game.

The character creation screen and the actual gameplay show just a black background, with my character and some menu buttons. I'm guessing something is wrong with the maps? Really lost on how to fix this.

I've tried looking through old threads about this, but the information either hasn't worked or is too old, so I'm hoping someone can help shed some light on this problem...

Try changing your rendering system if the suggestion above doesn't work

Thanks for the advice! But I've tried both and still can't fix it.

So you for sure have the 1.15 update and followed the instructions on how to reset character homes?

Maybe you could try this. Go to Local Disk (C:) \\ FeralHeart and use the game's uninstaller. Do not just delete the programs folder or use windows uninstall in the control panel. Once you've uninstalled, double-check that the program folder is gone and deleted, then attempt to re-install the game again.

Following what Bawfle said or in general, try uninstalling le maps or something of the sorts and replacing them with these helpful downloads it might just be the maps. -

Try uninstalling the game and reinstalling, BUT name the file something different.
