I adore altering screenshots and creating little stories behind them, so I figured it would be fun to make a thread of the things I make.

The Storyteller

This screenshot features my main character, Cooria, sitting by a fire in The Malevolent Swamp. She is well-known by the creatures that come here, as they believe that she has been living for hundreds of years. After all, she has many amazing stories, tales, and accounts of adventures that she shares with any critter that asks to hear them. The fire is a perfect place to tell a tale, surrounded in dark, quiet forest. No one really knows if the stories are true. Some of them are beautiful, while others are terrifying. The monsters she describes so vividly can't be real... can they?
So, my friends, gather around the fire, do not fear
For I will tell you a great tale that you might like to hear
The Explorer

This screenshot features my main character, Cooria, coming across a grassy clearing that is filled with bright fireflies. While many creatures fear the Malevolent Swamp due to its threatening appearance and eerie atmosphere, Cooria knows that there is beauty behind all the moss and ferns. She has been settled in this marshy land for many years, and has come to think of it as home. If one would simply take the time to explore the swamp, they might come to see what she sees.

The Stargazer

This screenshot features my main character, Cooria, enjoying the beautiful view of the stars. Calm, clear nights like these are rare in the Malevolent Swamp, so stargazing is a special treat. When the sky is free of clouds and fog, the darkness becomes brightly lit with the white light of the stars and moon. Cooria will take the chance to look at the galaxies above whenever she can, as it's truly a marvelous sight. She likes to imagine the different worlds that lay out in the vast expanse of the universe- what life might be out there? Did they wonder about her as much as she wondered about them? She knows that she'll never know the answers. She sort of likes it that way.

Wow it's...so realistic. How do you get your FH to look like that? I've tried getting different mods and could never make mine look that good. It's almost like it's a scene out of a movie.
Ahh thanks so much <3 I actually don't have any mods on my game! I just took a screenshot in one of my maps and did a bit of editing in Adobe Photoshop CS6. I draw in shadows, lighting, and change the brightness and contrast up a bit.
Amazing job on the screenshot editing! And adding a story to these screens really spices them up a bit. You're very creative ^^
