I haven't logged into my account for a good 3, 4, maybe 5 years, now. I recently downloaded the game again to check out the updated maps and music. But even though I reset my password and even went as far as to copy paste it, it won't connect me to the "front server"?
I just wanna check it out, be in and out.
But I really can't when this is happening.
Any suggestions?

I said that already, but yes. You need to keep the tab open while you play.

Hi there! Here are a few things you may try in addition, if you have been using the Play Game Tab:
-Disable any proxies on your web browser
-Use a different web browser
-Login on a mobile device or tablet
-Check that your internet connection is strong
-Right click on the FH application and click "Run as Administrator"
If by chance you are still not able to login, it is possible that your account no longer exists. You said it has been a good few years since you logged in, and if you have not entered the game in over 18 months, it is possible that the system has cleared your account. In that case, you would have to create a new account.

None of these have worked for me, and i have a pretty new account and have been trying to get FH to work for ages now, but it always says the same thing

And you're positive that you are logging into the Play Game tab before you login to the game client? The Play Game tab can be found here (https://feral-heart.com/login/index.php).
If that doesn't work I would definitely try looking for some proxies in your browser, as that would most likely be the issue here. You will be able to tell if you have a proxy enabled by checking out this url http://www.feral-heart.com/myip/ (http://www.feral-heart.com/myip/) and making note of what the IP address is on that page. Do not share that IP address on this thread for your own privacy. Then, download this: http://www.feral-heart.com/myip.zip (http://www.feral-heart.com/myip.zip) and see what IP address that exe file gives you.
The IP addresses on both much match. If they do not match it is likely that a proxy is enabled or there is something odd with your Internet Service Provider and your connection.
