Title: Changing water texture?

I've been looking for tutorials to no avail.

What I'm trying to do is to make the surface of a lake in my private map red WITHOUT changing the water texture everywhere else.

Not completely sure about this, but I think the "ocean" option might remain normal while "new water" has the texture change option

Think you go to effect maker in the object maker and make a billboard with red water effect, save it to the object group for that map, then you make an area of water in the map and copy the material for that billboard to the water material.

Been a while since i've done it but i've made black and red water that way before.

Edit: Kiki might be right about the new water versus ocean texture options.
