Title: How does giving characters work?

I've seen a topic in the characters thread where a character was being given away(https://feral-heart.com/smf/index.php?topic=59651.0 (https://feral-heart.com/smf/index.php?topic=59651.0)) and I have a few questions about that:

How does the recipient get the size right?
Does the one giving away characters lose that char after it is given away?
Does the one receiving the character have to download the preset(If any) as well?

Those who give away characters are indeed giving the recipient the character both reference-wise, preset-wise and altogether. Once someone has 'adopted' the oc they're giving away, the oc then completely belongs to the one who bought it and no longer by it's previous owner. The new owner can then make the size up for themselves if given permission, although often it's just a "take it and change it however you like" when it comes to selling/adopting OCs.
