I've been wondering about this for a while now.
Back in FH, before the new update, when somebody was using a preset you can only see white if you haven't had the same preset.
Is it still the same now? Because what is the point downloading a preset if nobody will see it? XD
I'm planning on downloading some but not sure...

As for your question, I would look into downloading and installing the Preset Sync. There is more information about what the Preset Sync is here (https://feral-heart.com/smf/index.php?topic=39845.0). You will also find the download link and installation instructions on that page.
And people with presets do not appear as the common "marshmallow" white, they appear as their character looks underneath of the preset. Presets are designed to appear for those that have the preset file downloaded, but still shows your normal character for those who don't have your preset file downloaded. The only reason that you would see white characters with no texture is if you do not have Legendary Markings installed which is a common markings pack within the game.
