Title: Maps Problem
Post by: TheOnlyTherian on August 01, 2017, 04:51:01 pm
This is my first time downloading a map, I followed a tutorial on YouTube on how to install maps properly into the game.
I installed a map I wanted, moved it to the right file and went in-game but no map? I was at Cape something and at the long hill/cliff, there was no portal to the map?

(I don't know why the image isn't showing?)

Try using Imgur to upload your picture/s ^^

As for your issue, it's possible that the portals are too transparent to see. Try downloading this and then look around again:

Thank you that helped so much! Is there a way to re-texture the portals? Just wondering.
Also, I have other problem with the another map I have downloaded (Not in the game), can I message you that or do I have to make a new topic?

Yes, you can re-texture the portal. It is found in FeralHeart > media > textures as "Gate", "Gate2" and "Gate3".

Simply reply here or message someone to let us know about it the new issue. No need to cluster the forum. =)

I'll lock this up as the issue appears to have been resolved. To answer your question regarding posting a new topic, it's better to edit/modify your current Help Thread topic instead of creating a new one, as this can add clutter to the boards and make it difficult for people to keep track of which topic you're needing assistance with.
