Title: How to get back to Lonely Cave?
Post by: ShadowMT13 on August 27, 2017, 06:35:06 am
Okay welp, I am sorry that I am posting another question, but I will say I do make sure I search and see if this question was already answered. Anyways I made my own map and I am in it as we speak, but how can I get back to lonely cave to go to a different map? I have tried a few things but it seems like nothing will take me back, I don't want to delete my character again and there has to be a better way...

Press the B key to open your info panel. Left click on "Home" and then left click on the "Go Home" button to return to Lonely Cave. =)

In that case follow the same steps but left click on "Reset Home" before clicking "Go Home". ^^

Well I just reseted it to go back to lonely cave, though I would prefer my map be my set home, so do you know anyways that I may be able to connect my map to the public world from the inside?

Ah yes, in Map Maker, there is a check box called "Has Portal", make sure it is checked and then just under that, make sure coordinates that are on your map are typed in so you can go through this portal. That will be the main entrance and exit to your map.

Look I am sorry but now there is another issue, it keeps saying that it failed to connect with the map.

Did you restart the game so changes would take effect?

It is doing this when I try logging in and playing the game, it goes to the loading screen like usual, but then says "Unable to connect to map, retry?"

Click on "Reset Home" and then "Go Home" for the character that it is doing this and then try playing the game again.

Everything seems to be working okay now, but there is still a problem with the portal, I can not get it to the area I want, I keep trying to get the cordinates right, but every single time it is still a the one corner of my map... I have tried finding some kind of help guide online and it does not ever yield any good results...

This spoiler is a screenshot I made a while ago.

In #2, put the following:

X: 100
Y: Height of mouse over ground Y + 1
Z: 100
Yaw: 0

Note: The mouse over thing can be found in Map Maker in the bottom right corner of the screen, it will display the coordinates like so:
100 500 100 32.5
(X Y Z Yaw)

I finally got it to work after some tweaking, thanks for all your help! I am still having a few issues but I will make a different forum post for that, because I already looked up how to fix the other issues I am having and the only forum discussing the issue is out of date, not to mention everything one person said to try, I did and nothing was fix. I really wish the staff would do more maintenance on feral heart, I am fairly new to this community and the game itself but I still love it, I just wish there were not so many issues with it.

Locking this

As for all of the game's issues, there's not much we can do about it, unfortunately; we do not have the source code
