Title: Game crashes when I load the map maker [resolved]

So I'm trying to make my own map. I export the map I was working on, and the game crashes. Now, I'm stuck and it keeps crashing when I load the mapmaker. I removed all my files from C:/FeralHeart/media/terrains/fhmaps/ that I added, but it still crashes. Help!!

I would first check for any duplicate particles in C:\FeralHeart\media\particles
Duplicate particles end in "_0" or "_1" If you say anything that looks like that, delete the duplicates.

Checked, there's no duplicates. There aren't any duplicates in my maps folders either.

When making your map, ( terrains ) make sure you didn't have any white spaces. That can also cause the game to crash. I'm assuming you tried to make your own terrain mask. Also, make sure that it was all on one layer and that it's set to greyscale.

Just checked, they're all one layer and on the terrain masks there's only blended rgb colors. I would show screenshots, but I'm not sure how

You can also try using & modifying (copy and paste your heightmap into it) this: http://www.mediafire.com/view/ausqlcih5y3qd3v/TestHeightmap.jpg It's just a flat, standard heightmap for getting started... it has everything set up already. You'll have to put it somewhere fh can find it though. Also: You can change the .jpg to .png by using "file > save as" if you want to keep using .png, which makes the map smoother. =)
You can take screenshots with the "PrtSc" button on your keyboard and then uploading them to a site like Imgur, then clicking on the uploaded image and copying the BBCode link that it provides.

It's not the files that are the problem. I just can't load the map maker for some reason. It's always crashing my game even when I remove all added files. I'm going to try and reinstall FH to see if it starts working again

Reinstalled FH and now it's working fine ^-^ Thank you all for your help!
