What an interesting topic. o:
To be honest, I like to think that FH is of course in this virtual world where time doesn't really exist or is actually known. We only have a day / night cycle, yes, and that time doesn't really pass or fall back but instead, time stands still for the most part like we're frozen for a time being and only move ever so slowly just to allow Day / Night. ( if that makes sense ).
So yeah, I think because of this, in the old FH before the update, we were living in this ancient time persay and once the update rolled in, FH did a huge time skip forward to fit into the more 'modern' life. So.... I think FH just got reborn in a sense and just evolved. Lol.
Well let's see here...
Assume that it was 2011 in FeralHeart on the day it released. Same year as us in real life.
Now, the day/night cycle is an hour. Meaning, it's daytime for one hour, then the sun sets and it's night for one hour. So basically, there are 12 FeralHeart days in one real life day(One day per 2 hours)
Meaning that a year on FeralHeart would pass in roughly 30 real life days (roughly a month for us)
FeralHeart (the game itself) is almost 7 years old in real life years. 7 years is 83 months.
Meaning that since FH started, 83 years have passed.
So the year in FeralHeart currently will be 2100. Will be going to 2101 soon.
I'm awful at math so I've probably messed up somewhere, but yeah. That's what I estimated...heh.
Edit: Yeah there was a flaw. It'll be 2100 the month FH was released (January I think) so as of right now currently..as we speak, it's the year 2098.
