Personality, As a cub, Kiara shared a lot of traits with her father Simba from his own cubhood. She is adventurous, headstrong, and not afraid to disobey her father Simba's orders. She is not too careful about respecting limits or rules, though she tries to convince her father that she is mature and can take care of herself. She is also very accepting of strangers, even lions who are not apart of her pride, as she quickly befriends Kovu, an Outsider. Her playful nature shows through when she readily plays games with him; she is also understanding of his background, as she is willing to give up her own game to make him feel more comfortable. But Kiara, still loyal to her family and what she knows to be right, convinces him to come back with her and stop the battle between the prides. Kiara shows exceptional wisdom when relaying the message to her father and doesn't back down when he forcefully tells her to stay out of the fight. She also shows compassion and a willingness to forgive when she tries to rescue Zira from falling off a cliff.
