I seem to have crashing that is becoming more frequent every hour.
I crashed every 30 minutes just hours ago.
I tried to log in, and instantly crashed upon entering Bonfire Islands, although I had logged in another character before trying to log in the character I selected.
I managed to successfully get into Bonfire Islands and made my way to The Grounds, but I crashed after 30 seconds sitting around.
So I logged in another character, this time in a custom map. 30 seconds into writing in my character's bio, all windows lose their contents and the bio's words turn invisible, then I crash.
I log into The Grounds, then I crash after five seconds.
I am using an ENB mod, as well as HD textures, but I've never had this much crashing since the time I got a badfile.reminder.
There is no Badfile.reminder, I checked each time I crashed.
Stuff wearing down could be the cause, as a month ago my PC gained a knack of temporarily freezing up, which turned into needing to be restarted each freeze.

I would say that your computer freezing up could be a culprit. It could also be the server playing up as well, although I haven't been seeing any threads popping up. You didn't install any mods right before it started doing this have you? Also I've heard that it can crash depending on what rendering system you're on, so maybe try changing that?

I've not changed the rendering system recently, and I didn't install anything recently either. I did drag presets from the FH with Preset Sync to the FH with the ENB mod installed.
Is there a way to give the chat box a background on OpenGL? Direct3D9 gave the background back to the chat box.
-
Not entirely sure. It's odd, I use OpenGL and my text boxes work just fine with it. Never had that issue with it. It could have been from when you moved those presets. Or the ENB messing with it. You can try pulling the ENB off and running FH just to see how it works?
-
It still crashes with OpenGL.
I can't seem to just pull the ENB's files out, it just creates a new configuration file.
I noticed the start screen is very jittery, lots of tiny lagging. Same in OpenGL.
Less lag in the FH shortcut that doesn't have the trees and rocks, but still frequent crashing there when I log in.
Everything in the Creative Den is fine.
I dragged out all the presets that had symbols in the name, that didn't fix it.
Then I dragged out all the presets in the presets folder, that didn't fix it either.

Did you try reinstalling?
And also, try using the normal FeralHeart, not the one with ENB mod and see how that works

The normal FeralHeart(The one without the ENB mod) is still crashing nearly constantly.
I now crash 0-10 seconds after logging in, I sometimes get a few seconds of time to run around and watch the chat.

Oh my God o.o
Thats so weird!
Well I’d suggest just reinstalling the game, you can get the original FH folder here

And just save things that you don’t want to lose, somewhere on your desktop

I just figured it out. I was testing my unfinished canine animations and forgot to put the old animation file back, so any howling, dancing, or curling canine was crashing me, but I could run around few seconds while the canines were still loading. At lease I updated my graphics drivers for the first time in months and probably saved me from any other problems my PC has been having.
Thank you, all, for trying to help me! And updating the graphics drivers has stopped the game from being choppy
