[News]

May 17 2011 - Map is awaiting update to version 1.06, sorry for the trouble

May 15 2011 - Map is updated to work with the newest patch. Please download the new maps! ~~NOTE: The southern map isn't working for whatever reason. I'm working to fix it and hopefully it will be up within an hour~~.

May 11 2011 - Maps are complete and released, have fun everybody! The August Leaf Clan will be prepared over the net couple days.

[About August Island]

August Island is a giant multi-map roleplay haven, designed for all types of roleplays. It is open to the public for almost any type of roleplay, with any group that springs up or completely solo. The official clan for the island is the August Leaf Clan, founded by Sycamora the lynx (Played by LordSameth), however other clans are more than welcome to share our space, as long as they respect the map rules.

August Island has many features, such as a massive den area designed for multiple clans to use as a home base, a food cache, a storytelling area, various landscapes, an infirmary designed for both realistic and magical cures, and large areas to explore.

August Island is in it's early stages, which means the maps will being seeing monthly updates. My skills have improved greatly since I began this project.

[Rules]

I worked hard on these maps, and would appreciate it if these three simple rules are followed:

1. Follow all FH rules.
2. You do not own any area on any map, so NO den claiming. Everyone is free to roleplay wherever they want. You don't have to roleplay together, but please respect each other. The only area owned by a group is the central den area, which is owned by the August Leaf Clan, however the area is not barred to you, and you may roleplay there as much as you like.
3. The den area is designed for pack use, however nobody is allowed to claim a den. It is first come first serve. If you are a small group, please use the smaller dens in order to keep the larger dens available for larger groups. The small dens are still pretty big.

As this is the map's first release, there may be some bugs. Please report any problems!!!!!!!

The download contains a zip file which includes 10 maps, coding and imaging for Volcano's custom water, custom objects, sky files, weather files including custom weather images and coding, and instructions on how to get it all working. The file should be about 7.8 MB.

alot of people are confused about what maps they can download & what maps just don't work anymore.

Post by: Jitters on May 17, 2011, 06:26:54 pm: I'm typically at the ruins if I don't have a formal roleplay going on. I'm offline right now because I'm moving at the end of the month and need to get a few boxes packed. I typically play in the evening after I'm worn out from work.
