Title: Maps in RPs?

(hopefully this is in the right section, aha)
I'm making an RP group and it seems like it'd be a better idea to go mapped rather than mapless. Only problem is, I have no clue how to make one and I don't think I'd be especially great at it since I'm awful at drawing/painting grass and stuff. Can you use public maps for RPs or is that a no-no..? If it is, could I commission someone to make a map for me? :p

You absolutely can use public maps! The only thing you'd have to keep in mind is that because they are public, there would be no way to force other members to leave that map or your "territory". In other words, you can't 'map claim'.

On the other hand, many users have public maps up for download that less members tend to go into that I'm sure could work for you! You can find these maps here: https://feral-heart.com/smf/index.php?board=110.0

If you did want a private map however, meaning just accessible to you and your group, you can certainly request to have one made here: https://feral-heart.com/smf/index.php?board=58.0
