I made a preset for my character but it still has the chead, cbody, ctail lines on it. Its a grid that keeps the canine preset in place. How do I get the eye thing that gets rid of the black lines on my preset?

You always have to keep the UV reference layer on top of the other layer.

And in order to get rid of the black lines on your preset, you have to make the UV guide/reference invisible by clicking on the eye icon in Gimp/Photoshop.

Im a bit new to gimp, but I could not find the eye icon. Is it possible if you could specify the path the the eye icon in gimp?

1. Click "Windows" in the toolbar at the top of the screen. Select "Dockable Dialogs. Choose "Layers" to open the Layers window. Hold the "CTRL" key and press "L" to show or hide the Layers window.
2. Click the "Layers & Channels" window to highlight it and click the "Layers" tab inside the window if it is not already selected. You will see a list of the layers in your image with a thumbnail and name representing each layer.
3. Click to the far left of the thumbnail for one of the layers. The eye icon should appear, indicating that the layer is visible.
4. Click to the far left of the thumbnail of the other layers to show the layers and enable the eye icon.
5. Click the eye icon again to hide any visible layers.
Hope this helps!
