Title: Uh Oh..
Post by: Oddonelynx on November 14, 2018, 12:58:35 am
Okay, no problems have been happening but ever since I got a new computer, I've been having Feral Heart problems. This problem is when I try to play, Feral Heart is on my Desktop because on OS: The backgrounds just decide not to work.  :( It works a few times, but after a while it loads and then the Ogre Rendering System pops up every time now, anyway how to fix this? :/

Hello Oddonelynx,

Is the image bellow what you are seeing?

If so try changing your rendering system from OpenGL to Direct3D9.

You can do this by going into the main FeralHeart folder, locating the "ogre.cfg"

open it and where it says;
Code: [Select]
Render System=OpenGL Rendering System

Replace it with

Code: [Select]
Render System=Direct3D9 Rendering System
(https://i.imgur.com/IGrK6n2.png)

If you are already using Direct3D9, try OpenGL

If this is not your issue could you please provide a screenshot?

Neither of those, also how do I add a screenshot? I've already gotten a picture of it.
Edit: I tried that but nothing happened.

Heyo!

Maybe you should try right clicking FeralHeart.exe and pressing on "run as administrator"? If that doesn't work, I recommend reinstalling FH completely. Let me know if your problem was solved after trying these options out!

That comes on for me when it quit unexpectedly or it's trying to run more than one instance of the game.

Darn it I don't want to reinstall again! I don't wanna re-add my mods the 5th time.

If you don't feel like reinstalling FH completely again you can just copy and paste the default contents of the main FeralHeart folder I have here!

Edit: Make sure you also save the markings.cfg and items.cfg files that you already have in your folder before replacing everything!
