I came across this picture, (aka, it's not mine), and thought: "Gee, why doesn't FH have emotes for feline tails?"

There could be a behavior-appropriate set for canines, too. Not sure if it'd be possible, (I'm pretty sure the ones where the tail fluffs out aren't), but it's certainly an interesting idea?

^ I agree with Soul, it makes sense to have realistic animal signals, like the tail fluff and back fur on end. It'd be cool if there were other body gestures too, both canine and feline, that had sounds... and maybe emotes that automatically pop up with it too... like a fixed face emote, tail emote, and body emote all put together in one action.
Example: If a theme is angry, then...
-You press 'C' for one action, or shift 'C' for scrolling through different actions, like the 'Z' button for sleeping and laying down.
-Once you scroll to the 'angry' action on a feline, your tail emote would be the one on the picture, the body emote would be the fur standing on end and back scrunched up, and the face emote could be rage.
-Sound could be a low growl/hiss.

Yes! Tail- emotes are defineately needed! like when my canine makes an angry challenge face I wish he'd raise his tail in challenge too. It only makes sense to have an emote be more body-wide.

Being able to do this would be excellent, for the tails could use a little addition so they wont just be for slapping on kitty butts, but for making the emotes more interesting as well!

I like this idea too.
But I think the tail emotes should just be additions to the regular emotes. Instead of just a face emote, the model goes through the whole thing--face, body(posture), and tail.
When I first played the game I thought 'butt swing' was supposed to be 'tail wag'...
... I'd much rather have 'tail wag', no offense.
But, speaking of that! I would like to have a 'default' tail setting. Up, down, idle wag (down and wagging), full wag (up and wagging).
For cats it could just be up, down, mid, and idle wag.

Aye, insted of just saying : Growls within an Rp, tail emotes really could help.

Hurr, If prey would be added,you had to stalk to get it, it would be funny if it stook out like a twig. xD

That is a wonderful idea though when peeps com in for the first time and scroll through every last emote it may create tremendous lag O.O great idea though pursue it further perhaps start a poll!? :3

Now I know you think a poll makes it official. It does not. Please stop asking fotr a poll in every idea thread you like because you think it means it'll get in game with enough Votes. You could get as many votes as you like and if Kovu doesn't want it, it won't be. Like all the wings polls.

Hey i kinda like your idea for example: happy tail wag or tail rise or tail droop.
