Title: Can't see friend? Trying to show a new friend around and can't see them. (Fixed)

Having issues with not being able to see a friend of mine in certain maps. So far it's just Ficho Tunnels and Cherika Valley. I'm not sure why I can't see them? They are not on my block list (of course) and I was just trying to show them how to get there. However there was another player with me and she was able to follow me. Any fixes or solutions to this? I'm so confused. Thanks for any help.  EDIT: The problem has been solved, thank you.

Have they updated their game? That is the only issue I can think of that would case that.

Is it possible your friend went into offline mode? If they receive the message "connecting..." then "failed to connect to front server, retry?" while in game, have them exit back to the menu/title screen and just log back in

Are you using the FHD mod? The same thing happens to me because the mod has yet to be updated with the new fh updated so you’ll still go to the previous version on the tunnels aka the one without the portal to kibou ridge.

They don't have any mods from what I know, I can certainly ask them. I do know that when they tried going into Ficho it looked different to them. I did ask them about possibly reinstalling the game. Would this be a possible solution as well? They cannot see me, either. It seems when we enter Ficho, we disappear from each other. I thought it was a friends list thing (I dunno why) but, it isn't. I will ask them about mods so I can give more information. Thanks for the possible solutions. :) It has yet to be fixed, but hopefully it will soon!

Looks like they possibly have the old patch. Tell them to download the new one just in case

Thank you. She is going to try reinstalling and downloading newer patches. I will be sure to update the thread once that occurs. :)
