Title: 1.17 Setup Triggering Anti-Virus?
Post by: eijiro on July 18, 2019, 11:05:08 pm
Apologies if this has been addressed before; I am just a lowly forum noob.
I have just got around to downloading the new update, but it sets off my anti-virus and the browser halts the download. When I check the scan reports, it brings up something about a trojan somehow involved with the files.
Is this just part of the experience or something? Or some type of false alarm? I'm not particularly fond of putting FeralHeart on my computer if there's a trojan detected with it. Thanks for any help; if this has already been addressed, feel free to link me to the solution ;)

FeralHeart is a completely safe download! If you're able to, try adding it to the allowance list on your antivirus!

Hey there! I also get the anti-virus thing that pops up, there should be an option that says "more info" and clicking it should give you the option to "Run anyway"
I assure you the game doesn't have any viruses!

In addition, you can disable your Anti-virus for as long as you are downloading and installing the game. And then switch it back on after. Or, add the game to a white list if possible.

Thanks for your help all! Glad to know my computer won't get killed by Feralheart. I've gone and downloaded it now! Feel free to lock this, if necessary.
