Title: Moving movie clip text to the top of the screen?
Post by: FlyingGrass on July 22, 2019, 10:43:20 pm
I'm not sure if this was already suggested. Maybe alter the Overlays.cfg a little to place the movie clip text at the top of the screen, since the movie clip's text field fits more than will fit on screen, so we(Or I do, I'm not sure who else does) need to make sure we didn't type off of the screen before we publish movie clip.

maybe even changing the font color to be a little more agreeable with the background

because on issue i see whether it's top or bottom is it being difficult to look at/read

Personally I prefer the look of bottom text over top text, but I definitely see you guys' point.

I think it would be neat to have the option to choose between top, center, and bottom text in movie maker. It would also be neat to be able to choose between a few different font colors, since some colors look great on certain backgrounds, but terrible on others.

I like the idea of being able to choose where you have your text and everything, it adds a bit more customization to the movies.

I believe the issue with the text at the bottom is due to the text wrapping (I'm just taking a wild guess, correct me if I'm wrong- mainly at xSpirit lmao) and not making it stop at the bottom of the window, thus making it fall down into never land and making it impossible to see.

Ahh, that's understandable lmao Thanks for clarification. Would be interesting to see if that could be implemented somehow.

I agree that having the text at the top to allow showing more words would be nice. c:
