Title: no characters?

hi, i'm a really old user coming back on once again, and i managed to log in just fine, but i have... no characters at all? it's just a white screen with feral heart in the background. did they get deleted? D: i wouldn't be surprised, but it is very disappointing. is there any way i could get them all back or no? my apologies if something like this is already out there, i couldn't find it.

edit: and i'm not talking about presets, just a whole ton of characters made normally.

If im not mistaking, I think your characters had gotten deleted and you're probably just looking at the main control characters panel?

Perhaps showing a screenshot?

ah, so had they been deleted for users who had just been inactive in general? i figured that might be the case, but just wanted to know in case there were any recovery options. :<

Are you characters listed when you go to the userpanel from your home page? Is yes, there should be a button next to each character listed saying “update to 1.17” if I’m nor mistaken. Try that out :)

unfortunately, no. :( just says character reset, no options such as "Bawfle, Go Home, Reset Home" exist either. ty for the suggestion, though!

thank you for clearing it up for me. and if i may ask some more questions; is there any set amount of time between inactivity, that characters get deleted? i know for presets it says a month, but i wasn't sure for the other characters.

For characters it's something like 12 months.

I just want you to know that I feel really bad for you that your characters got deleted all of a sudden :/

If your accounts been inactive for so long like after a certain amount of months to a year, the account automatically usually get cleared of its characters by the system it is not a bug
