Why does the tailess tail still appear as a copy of the lynx tail?

Hm, it shouldn't. Perhaps try downloading the models backup folder from this thread (https://feral-heart.com/smf/index.php?topic=58064.0) to replace all of your models with, and let me know how it goes.
