Title: New .exe file won't run on my PC

I had the game downloaded, and replaced the .exe file with the new one that fixed login issues.
However, when I tried to launch the game, this happened:

I have a pretty standard Windows systems, and I've never encountered this problem before with FeralHeart or any other program.

I had the same issue and I logged into the FeralHeart website and reset all my characters homes back to default. It gave me an option to reset them back to the new patch and I did that. Then I went to login and it worked. Hope this helps!

I tried that out, and unfortunately it didn't work.
It seems my problem is with the actual file, and not my account. I find it a bit odd that the new .exe file is so small compared to the old one.

If you right-click on it and run it as an admin, does it still say the same thing?

It's weird, when I'm prompted to download it, it says it's 721kB, but on my system the file is 0 bytes.
I tried to download it again for like the 7th time, and its suddenly the right file size. My system still treats the file like its untrustworthy, but it seems to be working now.

...Nevermind, no, its not. The game will launch, but now its just acting the way it was before the patch. Says I have a wrong username/password on the login screen.

Worked for me fine the first time- downloaded it a second time, and now it won't work for me at all.

Ok, I did a password reset and now the game is working perfectly now. Thanks everyone for the advice you offered!
And Tennessee, if you're still having trouble with the file, I would recommend clicking on the browser's downloads page after you get the .exe file and try opening the file. It might say something about it being untrustworthy, just ignore that and then move the file to the FeralHeart folder as normal. That's what got it to work for me. I'm using Firefox though, so it might not work depending on the browser you're using.
